Environmental Protection
Environmental protection is an important part of sustainable development. Our company incorporates environmental protection concepts into corporate policies, reduces environmentally harmful substances and materials in the manufacturing process, develops the concept of green products to minimize environmental impact, promotes compliance with environmental protection regulations, and implements plans to prevent environmental pollution while executing the ISO 14001 environmental management system, strictly adhering to government environmental management standards. In the year 114, there were no violations of environmental protection regulations that resulted in penalties.
1. Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction
Office equipment and home appliances prioritize choosing environmentally friendly and energy-saving labeled products. During non-dining or resting times in the office area/dining area/meeting room, turn off unnecessary lighting and air conditioning. Set the office area air conditioning to 25 degrees. Promote an electronic form signing system to save paper. Encourage colleagues to take the stairs instead of using the elevator. Advocate for personal computers to set power management; when away from the desk for a long time, turn off the monitor/hard drive/system standby. Be sure to shut down personal computers after work to save unnecessary waste. On holidays or non-working days, turn off the air conditioning chiller or maintain one unit in operation; only keep one elevator operational. During non-summer seasons, reduce the number of compressors used. Regularly clean and maintain office equipment and electromechanical devices to maintain equipment performance and reduce damage and replacement rates.
2. Water Resource Management
Advocate water conservation, adjust the water flow and water pressure of faucets, and use cleaning agents with water-saving labels for faucets, toilets, and urinals to reduce the amount used, in order to save cleaning water.3. Waste Reduction
Complying with environmental regulations, we effectively implement resource classification and recycling, advocate for colleagues to avoid using disposable tableware/straws, encourage double-sided printing of documents and reusing the reverse side of paper, reduce paper usage, recycle plastic bags after unpacking warehouse packaging for use in the office area, reduce the use of garbage bags by replacing small printers with multifunctional office machines, and reduce disposable toner cartridge waste.
4. Water Resources, Waste, and Greenhouse Gas Inventory
Our company is a professional IC design company engaged in product design, research and development, and sales. Wafer manufacturing, packaging, testing, and other production operations are entrusted to professional foundries, which do not generate manufacturing-related waste or wastewater discharge. Waste comes from household garbage, which is divided into general waste, kitchen waste, and recyclable resources. Colleagues concentrate the garbage in a temporary storage area, which is then confirmed for recycling classification by a cleaning company, and subsequently transported to an incineration plant for processing by a qualified waste disposal company. The main electricity consumption comes from air conditioning, lighting facilities, and computer equipment servers for office operational needs, while water resource consumption comes from general domestic water.

5. Future Quantitative Management Goals
Due to the expansion of business volume, the demand for machinery, equipment, and manpower will increase, and the utilization of environmental resources will significantly rise. In the future, regular annual inspections of greenhouse gas emissions and water usage will be conducted, aiming to reduce carbon dioxide emissions year by year. The carbon reduction target for 2025 to 2030 is to decrease by 1% compared to the previous year, with the ultimate goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
