USB Type-C Port Protector: Short-to-VBUS Overvoltage and IEC ESD Protection
The G2330 is a USB Type-C port protection chip that provides Short-to-VBUS overvoltage and IEC ESD protection.
In USB Type-C small connector, mechanical twisting and sliding of the connector could short pins due to the close proximity. This can cause 20V VBUS to be shorted to the CC and SBU pins.
